New Requirements For Being Apart of the Worship Team at Impact Church

Recently the leadership team at Impact discussed the plans of moving forward with Connect Groups. (aka House Church or New Testament Church).
Part of the the moving forward full speed, is understanding that Connect Groups are not just another "program", but it is the very foundation of Impact Church. The New Testament Church was built and maintained through the House Church... meeting in their homes. All ministry, teaching, and fellowship was done in the home. 

Acts 2:42, 46, 47
42They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

46Day by day continuing with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they were taking their meals together with gladness and sincerity of heart, 47praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved.

1 Corinthians 16:19
The churches in the province of Asia send you greetings. Aquila and Prisca greet you warmly in the Lord, and so does the church that meets at their house.

Colossians 4:15
Greet the brothers in Laodicea, as well as Nympha and the church that meets at her house.

Philemon 1:2
to Apphia our sister, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church that meets at your house:

1 Corinthians 14:26 

What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up.


The direction we are going as a Body is in the direction of House Church. The main focus is this concept. It doesn't mean we won't do things at the building, but, it does mean the main focus of Impact will be Connect Groups.

Now, since the worship team is a ministry of Impact Church, and the fact that those that serve on the worship team are ministers, it has been decided that if you wish to serve on the worship team, you must to an active member of a Connect Group in the area you live. Active meaning, you attend on regular basis. If you have any questions concerning the new policy, please feel free to contact me.
